Professional Bio
Hi I’m Carolyn and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana. For over ten years, I’ve had the privilege of helping children, families, and individuals work through a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Whether someone is feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with depression, navigating the complexities of OCD or hoarding, or simply trying to manage everyday stress, my focus is always on creating a safe, supportive space where healing can begin.
I started my career working closely with children and families, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding the dynamics that shape emotional health. Over time, my work expanded to include individuals facing more specialized challenges, particularly OCD and hoarding. I am especially drawn to hoarding treatment because of the visible, meaningful progress clients can make, progress that not only transforms their space but also their sense of self. My approach is always person-centered and collaborative, with the goal of helping each client feel empowered and genuinely understood.
What I love most about being a therapist is witnessing people recognize their own worth and make meaningful changes. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be part of that journey. I believe that therapy is hard work that requires courage and commitment but I also believe it’s worth every ounce of effort. Real growth happens when we’re willing to sit in discomfort and take the first steps toward change.
Therapy has shown me that, at our core, most people simply want to be heard and understood without judgment. Even in a world full of digital connection, we still crave genuine human relationships. To every new client, I promise to meet you where you are and support you as you work toward where you want to be. You are in control and you are stronger than you think.
