Most likely! WellQor clinical services are covered by most commercial insurance, medicare, and medicare advantage plans. In the case that our services aren’t covered by your insurance plan, our self-pay rates are very competitive.
When you fill out our get started form, you’ll tell us a little bit about yourself. We’ll compare the information you provide with our therapist’s specialties and availability to find the perfect match for you! Need to switch providers? No problem!
At WellQor, we truly believe that your success is directly related to your commitment to long term change. Expect to meet with your therapist for approximately one hour each week for a 12 week initial period to experience lasting results.
Yes, of course. But it is very important to note that most health insurance does not cover couples counseling as it is not considered a medical condition. Insurance covers the treatment of a primary patient for a diagnosed mental health condition, and our therapists will allow other family members to participate in sessions when appropriate. If you are exclusively seeking couples counseling, please expect to private pay for these sessions.
Our clinical team does not prescribe medication. Your therapist will, however, collaborate with your physician when appropriate as we fully believe in the benefits of comprehensive, collaborative care.
Absolutely! We believe that incorporating loved ones into the process can be productive for everyone. Our telehealth platform allows for group meetings so others can join in when appropriate.
No. WellQor clinicians are medical professionals who are licensed to evaluate, diagnose, and treat emotional health issues without an order from your primary care physician.
We will provide you with a letter confirming that you are receiving treatment, but WellQor will not provide evaluations, assessments, or recommendations related to employment, family and other matters.
To cancel a session, you must provide your therapist with 24 hours advance notice to avoid being subject to a $90 cancellation fee.
As a part of the onboarding process, our team will check with your insurance plan to identify out of pocket costs like co-payments, co-insurance, or applicable deductibles. This information will be shared with you, and we encourage you to independently verify your coverage with your insurance plan. We will bill your insurance for each session and bill you directly for any applicable co–payments, co-insurance, deductibles and no-show / late cancellation fees.
For this reason, WellQor requires that all patients maintain a valid credit card on file. Provided you haven’t already paid a bill directly, this card will be automatically charged 5 days after each bill is emailed to you. Within or after that 5 day period, please feel free to get in touch with our team regarding any questions or concerns. To avoid unexpected costs, please proactively communicate any changes to your health insurance benefits, and ensure you are in compliance with our cancellation policy. No-show/late cancellation fees are not covered by insurance.
Online therapy allows you to meet with your therapist virtually in the comfort of your own home using our secure and private video conferencing platform. Don’t worry if you are not a tech expert, most of our clients aren’t! We’ve worked very hard to make accessing your video sessions easy and even have a mobile app you can use your phone or tablet with.
WellQor uses BlueTelemed, which is accessible through web browsers and a mobile application. Prior to each session, you will receive notifications through both email and text containing a secure link you can click on to join the video conference.
Every clinical therapist working for WellQor is licensed board certified, and hold a PhD, PsyD, or Master’s Degree in their field. Many have specific training in their respective specialities, and all of our therapists are supervised by Clinical Directors who ensure our care meets the highest industry standards.
WellQor has a wide network of clinicians with a diverse set of specialties, each devoted to bringing out the best in each other and our clients. Whatever you want to work through, we can match you with a therapist who wants to help you.
