Everyday Health’s Review of WellQor

Everyday Health reviewed WellQor as part of its mission is to critically evaluate key players in the teletherapy space, focusing on how they address key challenges such as accessibility, quality of care, and user experience. As a clinical social worker and mental health writer for Everyday Health, Julia Childs Heyl has tested over a dozen teletherapy platforms including BetterHelp, Two Chairs, Brightside Health, and Sondermind. As a therapist herself, she’s particularly passionate about assessing each platform’s adherence to ethical values, quality of care, and patient privacy.

Most recently, Julia signed up for therapy with WellQor. In her recent article, she chronicles her experience as a WellQor client to deliver a clear and honest review for other therapy seekers.  In her review, she specifically highlights her positive experiences with WellQor’s patient liaison team, the fast and easy sign-up process, and the quality of the therapist she worked with.

To summarize her experience, she explains:

I would enthusiastically recommend WellQor to others. Between the positive experiences I had with customer service, the quality of care I received from the therapists, and the fact that it accepts major insurance plans and has reasonable out-of-pocket fees, I am thoroughly impressed.” – Julia Childs Heyl, MSW
