Professional Bio

Hi there, I’m Erika, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I’ve been working as a therapist for over 7 years and I’ve had the opportunity to work in both hospital and private practice settings. Along the way, I’ve connected with individuals from many different backgrounds across all ages, cultures, faiths, and identities. I especially enjoy working with individuals navigating relationship struggles or challenges related to PTSD. Helping clients unlearn harmful beliefs, build self-worth, and feel empowered in their own lives is a true honor.

I believe that therapy is an opportunity to lean into discomfort and grow from it in the best way possible. My own healing journey as a young adult inspired me to become a therapist because I know first-hand how life-changing that support can be. Therapy has shown me both the beauty and the complexity of humanity. Life isn’t always easy or fair but even in the difficult moments, there is room for growth, healing, and the rediscovery of trust, boundaries, and faith.

What I love most about being a therapist is helping people feel truly seen, showing them they are not alone in their experiences and that healing is not only possible but powerful. Watching clients grow through adversity, rediscover their strength, and emerge happier and more secure is one of the most rewarding parts of this work.

Outside of sessions, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, daughter, and close friends, going to the beach, or volunteering at my church.
