Professional Bio
Hi, my name is Tim and I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio. I have been a therapist for seven years, beginning my career as a group therapist before transitioning into independent practice. Alongside my clinical work, I have also served as a sports psychology consultant, where I integrated athletic performance with mental health. I’ve worked with individuals facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I aim to create a space where my clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow.
My path to becoming a therapist was inspired by a deep curiosity about the brain, performance under pressure, and the ways people grow through adversity. That curiosity continues to guide me everyday, keeping me motivated to help my clients through even the most difficult of times.
I most enjoy working with those who are new to therapy, individuals seeking a deeper understanding of their mind and mental health, and people navigating performance pressures. These moments provide opportunities to build awareness, resilience, and confidence. Watching clients recognize their strengths and realize their own capacity for growth is some of the most rewarding work I do.
To every new client, I promise to meet you where you are, to walk alongside you without judgment, and to challenge you when it supports your growth. I truly believe therapy is both a science and an art, combining evidence-based strategies with the uniqueness of human experience.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Tim Wallace, LPCC
