Professional Bio
Hi, I’m Megan! For more than 25 years, I’ve supported children, adults, and families through life’s challenges with a compassionate and client-centered approach. Whether someone is navigating grief, trauma, relationship struggles, major life changes, or feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, I believe therapy should feel supportive, personalized, and grounded in genuine connection. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, DBT, and trauma-focused CBT, to meet each client where they are and help them move toward healing and growth.
I was inspired to become a therapist after experiencing my own struggles with depression as a young adult. I know firsthand how invaluable unconditional support can be, and I strive to provide my clients with a soft place to land after a hard day or week. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing my clients grow over time. I love helping them notice their own strengths and the progress they’ve made, even when it’s hard for them to see it.
I believe therapy is life changing. It has taught me that we never truly know what someone else may be going through, and that kindness, compassion, and human connection matter deeply. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate whatever “stuff” life brings their way. I know that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, especially during seasons of uncertainty, pain, or transition, and I strive to offer a space for personal progress without judgment.
When I’m not with clients, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, playing cards and mah jongg, loving on my puppy, and sharing my many dad jokes.
