Professional Bio

My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t a straight line. Before this work, I spent years in the fashion and HR industries, where I saw how much stress and burnout people carry without anyone noticing. Growing up as an Asian American, I also came from a culture where mental health wasn’t talked about openly, and I watched people I loved struggle quietly. That’s what led me here. I wanted to help people feel supported and understood in ways they don’t always get to experience.

I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. My approach pulls from psychodynamic therapy, which looks at how our past and our relationship patterns shape the present, along with practical tools from CBT and DBT. So often people feel stuck in the same patterns without fully knowing why. I love helping clients connect the dots between what they’ve lived through and what they’re feeling now, so they can find clarity and build relationships that feel more fulfilling, including the one they have with themselves.

The part of this work I find most meaningful is watching someone move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling grounded and genuinely understood. I believe people are far more resilient than they give themselves credit for, and that underneath most struggles is a very human wish to feel seen and accepted. When we meet ourselves with curiosity instead of judgment, change starts to feel possible. I’ll meet you with honesty, compassion, and respect, and offer you a space where you can show up exactly as you are while I gently encourage you to challenge the patterns holding you back. I won’t pretend to have all the answers, but I’ll walk alongside you as we make sense of your story together. You don’t have to do this alone.

When I’m not with clients, you’ll usually find me with my dog, at the gym, crocheting, or hunting down a new matcha spot.

I can’t wait to meet you!
