Professional Bio
Hello, my name is Omar and I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can slow down, speak openly, and feel supported through whatever you are carrying. Rather than taking a one size fits all approach, I try to meet each person where they are and understand the experiences that have shaped them. Together, we work toward making sense of difficult emotions and patterns while also building practical tools that help create more stability, clarity, and meaning in everyday life.
My own experiences with mental health and adversity inspired me to become a therapist. I understand that emotional pain is often invisible and that many people struggle silently. Because of this, I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, respected, open, and supported throughout their journey. I believe that unconditional regard, attunement, and genuine human connection can help people move through even the darkest moments in life.
I feel especially passionate about working with individuals struggling with depression and trauma because I understand how deeply past experiences can affect the way we see ourselves, relate to others, and experience the world around us. In my sessions, I aim to help clients feel emotionally safe enough to explore difficult experiences at their own pace while also reconnecting with strengths they may have lost sight of.
I believe therapy should not feel clinical or distant, but instead feel like a supportive relationship where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted as you work through painful or overwhelming parts of life. I value each client’s voice throughout the process and believe meaningful healing happens when people feel genuinely seen and supported rather than judged or “fixed.”
I look forward to meeting you.
