Professional Bio
My name is Afsaneh Roshangah-Fuller and I’m a licensed clinical psychologist. I have experience providing psychotherapy to a wide variety of clients. I began my career I’m mental health over 20 years ago as a school counselor. Later, I went on to obtain my doctorate and professional license in Clinical Psychology.
When working with clients, I use a variety of clinical methods depending on a client’s specific needs. I’m trained in the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Hypnotherapy, and several neuro-linguistic programming techniques. These modalities have all been crucial in helping my patients find the root cause of their problems and change their inner dialogue.
I really do love the work that I do, and the most rewarding part of being a therapist is witnessing a patient’s breakthrough. Being present when a patient experiences that “aha” moment, discovers a new perspective, finds a positive solution, or gains powerful insight is a truly humbling experience for me as a therapist. I am grateful to be present for those moments.
As your therapist, I promise to listen without judgment, work with you to find solutions, and match your efforts in our work together. Therapy has taught me that everyone has a story. Struggle is a natural part of emotional growth and evolution. If we strive for empathy and acceptance, we can all learn from each other and heal together.
I believe that therapy is for everyone. With the right therapist and a little courage, it can be a tremendously healing journey. So come talk to me!
