Professional Bio
Hi there, My name is Amanda Milano and I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker.
My approach to life and therapy is centered around empowering and uplifting others. I use the clinical tools and knowledge at my disposal to help my clients feel supported, worthy, stable, and successful in their individual lives. I love being the person that listens to stories and helps make sense of them, guiding clients towards a major breakthrough.
I have experience working with clients experiencing crisis situations, familial struggles, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other conditions that affect mental health. Particularly, I have a deep understanding of the struggles associated with anxiety and I have special insight into the treatment of anxiety.
As your therapist, I promise to always be accepting and understanding. I promise to do everything I can to help lift you up and be the best person you can be. Therapy is an important part of a good self care routine, so come talk to me!
“Without change, there would be no butterflies.”
