Professional Bio

Hi! My name is Beth Provost and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping my clients improve self-esteem, gain practical insights, and build a brighter future. Over the course of my career I’ve had the opportunity to assist clients experiencing a wide variety of life stressors and mental health conditions. I often work with clients looking for help with depression, family and peer relationships, communication issues, self esteem, substance abuse, self esteem, and trauma.

Therapy can be challenging, so connection and trust in the therapeutic relationship is extremely important for your healing and growth. As a therapist, I strive to provide a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for those I serve. I aim to have my clients feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I always stress that our sessions are a ā€œno-judgement zone.ā€ I am a trauma survivor myself, and I’ve been to therapy as a client before. I know how hard it can be to unpack your thoughts and experiences with someone else, so I really try to be an empathetic and understanding listener.

My approach to our therapy sessions will be tailored to your unique needs and goals. There’s no ā€œone size fits allā€ approach, but I am trained in a variety of clinically proven methods depending on your circumstance. For example, I find it helpful for trauma to examine the ways that your past experiences can impact your body, thoughts, and behaviors in the current moment. Then, we can identify skills and coping mechanisms to make positive changes. Whatever you may be struggling with, we’ll work together to identify those ā€œconnectionsā€ that might be unseen, and work towards a happier and healthier you.

I cherish the connection I am able to build with my clients, as well as watching them grow along the way. So if you are ready to begin your therapy journey, I’d love to welcome you! Find a spot on my calendar so we can begin working towards a happier you!

Looking forward to meeting you,
Beth Provost, LCSW
