Professional Bio
Hi, I’m Danielle. I’m a Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist in Georgia, as well as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. For more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping people work through some of the difficult and unexpected moments life can bring. Along the way, I’ve learned that challenges can find any of us, regardless of where we are in life, and needing support through them is simply part of being human.
I especially enjoy working with people who are struggling in their relationships. When a relationship is important to you, feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or stuck in the same patterns can affect so many other parts of your life. In therapy, we can slow things down, better understand what is happening beneath the surface, and work toward healthier ways of communicating and connecting. Whether we are working on a relationship or something you are facing individually, I want our sessions to feel collaborative. I’m not here to tell you how to live your life. I’m here to listen, understand what matters to you, and help you move toward the changes you want to make.
Some of my favorite moments as a therapist are when something finally clicks for a client. Maybe you see a situation differently, understand yourself in a new way, or realize that something you have been carrying does not have to hold the same power over you anymore. I believe therapy can help us recognize that the difficult parts of our stories do not have to define us. They can become part of how we learn, heal, and grow.
You can expect me to meet you with respect, compassion, and a genuine desire to understand your experience. You do not need to have everything figured out before we begin. We will work through it together, at a pace that feels right for you. I promise to listen to what is bringing you to therapy and work alongside you toward greater clarity, stronger relationships, and a life that feels more like the one you want to be living.
