Professional Bio

Hi there, I’m Jenifer! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with a background serving first responders and veterans, gaining extensive experience with depression, PTSD, and anxiety. Ultimately, my goal as a therapist is to help you move forward, discover your strengths, and create a life that feels meaningful to you. I especially enjoy working with people who feel stuck in their lives, whether due to depression, anxiety, or difficult life circumstances. Watching clients uncover their sense of purpose and direction is some of the most meaningful work I do.

What I enjoy most about being a therapist is having a front-row seat to people’s growth. It is deeply rewarding to watch someone move from pain and chaos toward stability and self-trust. I appreciate the challenge of finding what will truly help the unique individual in front of me, and the work continually keeps me learning, humble, and inspired. Every client brings a new story and a new puzzle to solve, making the work both meaningful and dynamic.

As your therapist, I promise not to judge you, but instead to create a safe and supportive space for your growth. No one is perfect, and I believe that therapy itself is a combination of work, trust, and sometimes even laughter. In our sessions, you can expect open and honest conversations, practical strategies tailored to your needs, and a balance of challenge and encouragement to help you move forward.

When I am not with clients, I enjoy sitting in the car line for an hour every day, building IKEA furniture, petting every dog I come across, and spending time with my family.
