Hi! My name is Jacquellin Harris and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I have experience working with clients experiencing things like anxiety, depression, trauma, self esteem issues, and adjustments to life changes. I have worked in many therapeutic settings including both intensive therapy services and outpatient services.
Growing up in Los Angeles, I saw a lot of mental health challenges present in my community and even my own household that went untreated. At the time, I wasn’t even aware that what I was seeing were mental health issues. So as I grew up and gained awareness, I was inspired to become a therapist. I wanted to be an advocate for those that struggle with mental health.
Whatever you may be struggling with, my goal is for you to feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings without judgment. My therapeutic approach is grounded in mindfulness, a practice that invites individuals to be present in the moment with curiosity and acceptance. Together, we will explore the power of mindful awareness, allowing you to develop a deeper connection with your thoughts and emotions. By integrating mindfulness into our sessions, we can unravel patterns of thinking, reduce stress, and foster a greater sense of balance.
