Professional Bio

Hi! My name is Jonathan and I’m a licensed social worker with over 20 years of experience helping people. I work with a wide range of ages and clientele including individuals, couples and senior adults. I work with clients who are experiencing any one of a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, PTSD, and relationship and intimacy struggles.

Every person is a unique individual with unique experiences and life challenges. For many people, taking the first step in reaching out to a therapist is very difficult. It is anxiety provoking, stressful and often is accompanied by feelings of embarrassment. By reading this, you have already taken the first step in accepting the challenge of making successful changes in your life.

I am 100% invested in helping my clients to live happier, more satisfying lives by making a commitment toward change together. This is done in a safe, confidential and supportive setting- a setting that promotes empowerment, self-confidence, and an opportunity to thrive. Everyone is entitled to a satisfying and fulfilling life. Through hard work, support and guidance, this can be achieved. We all have the power within ourselves to make positive changes in our lives. We have tremendous inner strength and we just have to take the time to find it.

It’s my passion to help others realize their strengths, and better understand their relationships and behaviors. In my practice I apply a strengths based, client centered approach to cognitive behavioral therapy, and I assist clients in identifying areas they want to change, setting goals, and developing strategies toward that end.
