Professional Bio

Hi! My name is Josh Masterson I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a wide variety of experience helping clients overcome mental health barriers and be their best selves. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked in Veterans’ Affairs, Community Mental Health, and a residential treatment program for young adults. Now, I work with WellQor to provide therapy to people from all walks of life using evidence-based treatment methods like cognitive restructuring and somatic therapy. I’m passionate about helping others who are feeling lost, confused, overwhelmed, or spiritually suffering. I’ve been there myself. I’ve gone through deep healing experiences after experiencing years of turmoil and difficulty, and I’m all about helping others heal too.

As your therapist, I want to help you go from internal conflict to internal peace. You can expect our sessions to be highly introspective as we work together to learn more about you, the challenges you’re facing, and how to overcome them. I enjoy exploring consciousness with my clients, and getting a chance to be ‘let into’ their authentic selves. It’s a great privilege to use my clinical insight to help others make connections and find those “aha” moments.
