Professional Bio

Hi! My name is Kelly and Iā€™m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Iā€™ve spent 23 years working in mental health, and I have a wide range of experience working with adolescents, adults, and families. Iā€™m trained in the clinically proven methods of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy, and I use these methods to help my clients manage and overcome issues like co-occurring disorders, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and depressive disorders.

I would describe myself as inclusive and empathetic, and I like to use humor to break the ice and bond with my clients. My clinical philosophy revolves around ā€œmeeting you where youā€™re at,ā€ and I do so by working hard to get a holistic understanding of your life and your needs, and working with you to explore yourself, put the puzzle pieces together, and find healing.

If youā€™re struggling with your mental health, or even a new or confusing life situation, Iā€™m here to help you learn how to navigate your issues, become educated on potential solutions, and move forward. As your therapist, I want to help you discover who you truly are meant to be. I believe that therapy is something we all need, so come talk to me!

When Iā€™m not with clients, I like to spend time with my daughter and dogs. I also enjoy gardening, art, going to the farmerā€™s market, and baking. Iā€™m excited to learn more about you!
