Professional Bio
Hi there! My name is Keleigh Dewey and I’m a Clinical Psychologist with a concentration in Neuropsychology.
The most rewarding part of my job is to see people free, unstuck, and embracing life with a new perspective. I believe when people replace cognitive distortions with the truth, big life changes can actually occur.
I was inspired to get my PsyD and become a psychologist by the stories of others in my life. Before I was a psychologist I had my own business, and I had hired a group of troubled teenagers who had been given up on by others in the community. I took them in and mentored them, and watched them turn their lives around. That experience led me to take a hard look at my own life, and where I could invest more of my time into doing good for others. I returned to school and earned two master’s degrees and a doctorate in psychology.
As your therapist I promise to never give up on you. No one is too far gone to experience some degree of freedom and change. I will stay committed in your journey to move forward and find resolve, whether that means to conquer, thrive, overcome, or simply maintain. Therapy is as important as daily hygiene. We all need to learn how to nurture ourselves, reflect on our lives, and evaluate our environments. Therapy not only helps you get through current issues, but it will prepare you to take on future issues.
When I’m not with clients you can find me cycling, gardening, traveling, enjoying restaurants in the Los Angeles area, boating, and playing sports.
The best way to predict the future is to create it, so come talk to me!
