Professional Bio

Hi I’m Kimberly and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York. I earned my M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University (NYU) in 2019 and have since dedicated my career to supporting clients through challenges related to anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and life transitions. My approach is primarily person-centered, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strength-based interventions to meet each client’s unique needs.

I’m especially passionate about working with individuals experiencing periods of transition, self-exploration, or emotional distress, as these moments often lead to profound growth, resilience, and self-understanding. I deeply value the trust and openness that develop within the therapeutic relationship and feel truly honored to walk alongside each person on their journey of healing and transformation.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative and empowering process that offers a safe, affirming space for clients to explore their experiences, build self-awareness, and develop tools for personal growth and emotional well-being. Human experiences are beautifully complex. Clients can feel grateful yet sad, strong yet vulnerable, or hopeful yet afraid, and all of these emotions are valid and worth exploring.
