Professional Bio

Hi! My name is Linda and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor. I earned my Master’s Degree from the University of Saint Francis in 1998. Since then, I’ve worked with patients on a variety of issues including but not limited to grief and loss, relationship issues, trauma, depression, adjustment disorders from life changes, and substance use issues. I use evidence based clinical methods throughout the therapeutic process, and I’m specifically trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy and EMDR.

As your therapist, I promise to provide you with a nonjudgmental space to sort through your challenges, identify your strengths, and use them to progress in life. Throughout this process, I’ll work in partnership with you to help you achieve your goals and live your best life. I became a therapist because I really believe in the power therapy has. Life can be stressful and overwhelming for anybody, and we can all benefit from taking a step back and exploring ways to navigate life’s challenges. People are very resilient, so long as they learn to know and believe in themselves.

The best part of my job is seeing people get to know themselves, gain confidence, and realize the control they have over certain aspects of their lives. Life is full of uncertainty, but also hope, success, and opportunity for growth.

When I’m not with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, bike riding, being in nature, reading, and playing video games.

I look forward to getting to know you!
