Professional Bio

Hi, I’m Lexus, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois with experience in both the legal system and private practice. I’m passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, mood disorders, and more. I have a special interest in working with those whose current challenges stem from childhood adversities, as I know how essential compassionate support can be in fostering healing and growth.

I believe therapy is both a chance for self-reflection and a pathway to personal growth. My inspiration to become a therapist came from witnessing the impact of mental health challenges and intergenerational trauma on families. I see therapy as an opportunity to help break those cycles and to walk alongside clients as they work toward healing. My hope is that through our work together, you will feel empowered to create meaningful change and discover a greater sense of peace in your life.

What I value most about being a therapist is creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe enough to begin that journey of healing and self-exploration. I feel honored to be trusted as a confidant during moments of change, uncertainty, and distress. As your therapist, I promise to provide a space where you feel seen and supported as we identify the patterns that cause distress and work together toward finding balance in both mind and body.

Outside of my work, I enjoy going on walks, attending workout classes, creating art, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
