Professional Bio
Hi! I’m Mary Jackson, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) serving clients seeking change and growth in their lives. I have experience helping clients working through anxiety, depression, trauma, and a variety of other mental health challenges. I also have extensive experience supporting business owners, leaders, and high-achieving women who may be navigating challenges such as overthinking, anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and co-dependency. Furthermore, I’m passionate about working with women and neurodivergent women, helping them navigate the unique challenges they face and empowering them to embrace their strengths. I enjoy working with people who desire change and personal growth because I am skilled at holding my clients accountable and motivating them to reach their goals. I want my clients to know their inner power and strengths and use them to improve their lives.
I was inspired to become a therapist because therapy changed my life. When I was young, I sought support from a therapist who helped me immensely, and from then on I knew I wanted to help others in the same way. I believe in the power of connection and the healing that comes from sharing our stories. I enjoy fostering a collaborative and supportive environment, helping clients develop new skills while encouraging personal growth. I believe therapy is an act of bravery. Being willing to examine your life and what is working or needs to change is a vulnerable act that shows incredible strength.
As your therapist, I promise to value every second we have together. I want you to leave each session with a new skill or insight to help you in your battle. Together, we can explore the challenges you face and create a path toward healing. Therapy has shown me how resilient we all are and that, through hope and connection, we can overcome hardships that once seemed insurmountable. So, if you’re looking for change and need a little help to get there, I’d love to be your therapist!
When I’m not with clients, I enjoy reading, especially self-help and memoir books. I also visit Disneyland a few times a year with my family. I also enjoy watching football with my husband and my french bulldog cheering on the Arizona Cardinals!
I’m looking forward to learning more about you!
Sincerely,
Mary Jackson, LPC
