Professional Bio
Change is possible. I’ve believed that for more than twenty-five years, and I’ve watched it prove true again and again.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker here in Texas, and over the past twenty-five years I’ve had the privilege of working with people of all ages and from all walks of life. What I’ve learned in that time is that no matter where someone starts, no matter how stuck or worn down they feel when they first sit across from me, there is real power inside them to change their own life. Helping people find that power and learn to use it is what I love most about this work.
I’d describe myself as an optimist, and I mean that in a grounded way, not a naive one. I’ve been with people through some of the hardest seasons of their lives, and I still believe deeply that every person is capable of a life filled with meaning and satisfaction. That belief sits at the center of everything I do. It’s what I hold onto for you on the days you might struggle to hold onto it for yourself.
In our work together, you’ll find me supportive and never judgmental. I pay close attention to what you actually need, because no two people are the same, and I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to something as personal as your growth and healing. My job is to understand you, to meet you where you are, and to help you move toward the life you want. To me, there’s nothing more meaningful than watching someone transform. When I see a client begin to live each day more fully, more like the person they’ve always wanted to be, it makes every part of this work worthwhile. That’s the purpose I’ve built my career, and my life, around.
If you’re someone with a real desire to grow and change, I would love to work with you. Here is what I can promise you. I will do everything I can to meet your needs. I will be there when you’re at your worst, not only at your best. And I will walk beside you, step by step, toward joy and contentment. You don’t have to make that journey alone.
