Professional Bio

Hi! I’m Nicole Baker, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California dedicated to helping my clients take control of their lives. I’m very passionate about providing a safe space for individuals to grow, and I work to promote equity, equality, and authenticity in everything I do. My specialties include trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting skills, mood disorders, addiction, impulse control disorders, and much more. I’m also specifically trained in working with women and LGBTQ folks with a broad understanding of the unique challenges these communities face.

I see therapy as a journey of growth and learning that takes patience and effort to see meaningful results. I believe we all need connection, compassion, and empathy to truly thrive, and I’m here to support you on that journey. As your therapist, I’m committed to fostering honesty and transparency in our work together. I’ll listen closely and respect your perspectives, creating a safe space where you feel empowered to heal and grow. We’ll set measurable goals for your therapy journey, and use the therapeutic process to equip you with the tools to find success.

I’ve always had a passion for helping people because I know how it feels to need support. There was a time in my life when I relied on the support and compassion of others, and I’m so grateful to pass that gift along to my clients.
