Professional Bio
Hi there, I’m Patricia! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong background in both education and counseling. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade as a professional school counselor, supporting students of all ages. This experience gave me a deep understanding of the challenges people face at different stages of life and helped shape the compassionate, collaborative approach I bring to therapy today.
My path to becoming a therapist was inspired by my own family’s experiences. As the spouse of a retired Army veteran who served 23 years, I witnessed the emotional challenges my children faced during multiple deployments. That season of life gave me perspective on how many families carry unseen struggles, and it inspired me to dedicate myself to helping others through difficult times.
My favorite thing about being a therapist is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Every client brings a unique story, and through listening and guiding, I’ve not only been able to support others but have also grown in my own understanding of human behavior and emotion.
I most enjoy working with individuals who are navigating transitions, managing anxiety, overcoming depression, or building self-esteem. Witnessing clients gain confidence, achieve goals, and celebrate progress is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I believe therapy is a journey that requires patience, courage, and active participation, but with commitment, it can lead to meaningful and lasting change. To every new client I meet, I promise to provide a safe, respectful, and confidential space where you can feel supported as you work toward growth and healing.
