Professional Bio

Hi there, my name is Rachel and I’m a clinical therapist with over 17 years of experience treating all types of people. While I often help clients work through a wide variety of mental health challenges, I’m specifically specialized in treating anxiety, mood disorders, and relationship issues.

When you come to me for therapy, I want you to feel supported and safe. I put a large emphasis on building a trusting relationship and creating an environment that helps you effectively communicate your needs without feeling shame or fear. I enjoy being supportive and providing education and resources for client’s who are struggling or just looking for answers and direction. I enjoy seeing the results of the work I do, and I appreciate seeing the growth and positive changes in clients.I’m here to help you problem solve and discover yourself to effectively manage your mental health needs and reach your personal goals.

Being a therapist has taught me that we might not be in control of our environment, but we control the way we interact with the world around us, and we have the ability to greatly improve our lives by managing our thoughts, emotions, and interactions with others. No matter how alone you might feel, there are others out there feeling the same thing, and people there to support you should you choose to reach out. So please, come talk to me!

When I’m not with clients I like to travel, shop, and garden. I have a hydro garden and I like to go thrift shopping and hunt for hidden treasures. Doing things you love is a great exercise in self care!
