Professional Bio
Hi I’m Salcia, a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults through a variety of challenges. My approach with clients is eclectic, meaning I integrate a variety of clinically proven techniques depending on each client’s unique needs. I’m experienced in helping clients navigate a wide variety of issues including PTSD, anxiety, depression, anger management, low self-esteem, ADHD, relationship difficulties, and stress management. I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s difficulties while fostering a deeper understanding of themselves. I aim to guide my clients through the healing process while empowering them to make positive, lasting changes.
My journey to becoming a therapist stemmed from a deep desire to help individuals gain self-awareness, overcome their challenges, and regain control of their own stories. I’ve always been fascinated by the human mind—how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors shape us—and this curiosity drives my passion for this work. My greatest fulfillment comes from helping others develop self-love and empowering them with the tools needed to become the best version of themselves.
At our core, we all crave understanding, connection, and a sense of purpose. Pain and struggle are universal experiences, but so is resilience and the ability to grow. I’m here to give you the proper guidance to make growth and healing possible. Our therapy sessions will be a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be your authentic self, navigate challenges, foster growth, and embrace the strength within you. My hope is that by the end of our time together, you’ll be able to navigate challenges that once felt overwhelming with clarity and confidence.
Therapy is a powerful tool for self exploration, and I can’t wait to begin this journey with you!
Sincerely,
Salcia DeJesus-Malabie, LPC
