Professional Bio
Hi! My name is Stacey Spata and I’ve been a practicing therapist for 22 years. Over the course of my career I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide variety of clients experiencing numerous different mental health and life challenges.
I would describe my approach to therapy as a holistic approach. Exploring the connections between your mental, physical, and spiritual health can be a very effective way to find solutions to complicated problems, and overall improve your lifestyle. Throughout this process I strive to meet each one of my clients with dignity and respect while guiding them along the path to achieving their goals and finding balance in life. Being witness to that journey is a great honor, and it’s a beautiful thing to see someone explore and grow into the best version of themself. While many people come to therapy in a place of distress, I like to remind my clients that amidst struggle there’s a great opportunity to open the door to thrive in ways they did not prior think or feel they had access to.
As a therapist I genuinely enjoy listening to what people have to say about their journey. I find it fascinating to explore and learn about their views, thoughts, feelings, desires and dreams. Therapy has taught me that we are all living the human experience very uniquely. It is in the uniqueness that we can shine in beauty and express ourselves.
As you move through the therapeutic process with me I promise to be present and create a safe, warm and caring environment for you to explore, grow and thrive. I believe it’s so important to be kind to ourselves and others, and I promise to bring that energy into my sessions with you.
When I’m not with clients, I enjoy listening to music, reading books, and exploring different things with my children. Can’t wait to learn more about you!
