Professional Bio

Hi, I’m Timeka. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with more than 16 years of experience in behavioral health. I work especially well with people navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions. Together, we’ll focus on practical tools you can actually use, building resilience, and helping you feel steadier and more confident. I find a lot of meaning in helping people slow down, reconnect, and find some peace.

I came to this work in a roundabout way. People have always felt comfortable opening up to me, and growing up in a family that fostered children showed me early on how much support and understanding can change a person’s life.

What I love most is watching the moment a client realizes their own strength and starts to find their voice, or reclaim it. There’s something powerful about creating a space where someone feels safe enough to be honest, then seeing them use that clarity to move forward. That shift, from feeling stuck to feeling capable, never gets old for me.

I believe therapy is a courageous act of self-investment. It’s a collaborative process and a space for healing, self-discovery, and growth. Therapy isn’t about being broken. It’s about being intentional with your own healing. I can’t promise a specific outcome, but I can promise to show up with compassion, respect, and genuine care, and to give you a space where you feel heard, valued, and encouraged as you work toward your goals.

When I’m not with clients, you’ll find me spending time with family, working on creative projects, and making room for the kind of rest that lets me show up fully for the people I serve.
