Professional Bio

Life has a way of handing us more than we feel ready for. A hard season, a loss, a change we didn’t choose, a worry that won’t quiet down. When you’re in the middle of it, it can feel like you’re carrying it alone. I want you to know that you don’t have to.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor here in New York, and I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, family conflict, and the kind of emotional ups and downs that are hard to put into words. Over the years I’ve worked in schools and community settings, and one thing has stayed true across all of it: everyone has a story, and every story deserves to be met with curiosity instead of judgment.

In our work together, I’ll meet you where you are. I’m not here to hand you a set of fixes or tell you what your journey should look like. I believe you already have strengths inside you, some you may not have noticed yet, and my role is to help you find them, build on them, and develop practical tools you can actually use. My approach draws on cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused work, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing, but what matters most is that our time together feels safe, honest, and genuinely yours.

I came to this work partly through my own experience with it. I know firsthand how much can shift when a person finally feels seen, heard, and supported, and it’s why I believe asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. I’ve watched people heal and grow after loss, trauma, and hardship, and it has taught me again and again that hope can be restored and no one is beyond the reach of compassion.

I promise to meet you without judgment, to honor your story, and to celebrate your progress with you. I can’t promise the road will always be easy, but I can promise you won’t walk it alone.

I look forward to meeting you.
